Crisis support
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number now: 112 in the EU, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US and Canada, 000 in Australia.
AITherapist is an AI. It cannot call for help, contact anyone on your behalf, or replace a crisis service. The lines below are staffed by people.

How AITherapist responds to risk
- The AI tells you at the start of every session that it is an AI, not a person or a licensed clinician.
- If you mention thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or harming someone else, the AI is instructed to take it seriously, respond calmly, give you the emergency number and crisis line for your country, and encourage you to contact a person you trust.
- A "Need help now?" button is visible throughout every session and shows local numbers.
- If you rate your mood very low before a session, we show crisis contacts before you continue.
- We review this protocol and the phone numbers on this page at least every three months.
